The “Simulation and Capacity Analysis Users Group of Louisiana” (SimCap Louisiana) is a volunteer network of professionals, working across geographic and organizational boundaries, who have organized together to enhance the practice of traffic simulation and capacity analysis. Specifically, the Mission of SimCap Louisiana is to share information and experiences as to disseminate, promote, and develop guidelines and best practices in the application of traffic simulation and capacity analysis tools, methods, and related practice areas.
SimCap Louisiana was established in Feb. 2018 and has since been meeting on a quarterly basis for educational presentations and group discussions. Our Members are from a wide-range of institutions: local, state, and federal government agencies, academia, and the private sector.
